2021 Candlelight Carols

When: Saturday, 11th December 2021, 5:00pm, Carols start at 6pm

Where: Historic Ormiston House: 277 Wellington Street, Ormiston, Queensland, 4160

What: Come and experience their Candlelight Carols at Historic Ormiston House! Enjoy beautiful music and a special visit from Santa as you celebrate Christmas favourites against the backdrop of Moreton Bay!

Redlands Coast Collective Markets

When: Sunday, 12th December 2021, 8:00am – 12:00pm 

Where: Faith Lutheran College Redlands, 1/15 Beveridge Rd, Thornlands QLD 4164

What: Redlands Coast Collective Markets is a boutique market selling Arts and Crafts, Handmade Items, Vintage and Pre-Loved clothes, toys, household items and supporting local small creative Business, stallholders and the Redlands Coast Community.

Held at the Faith Lutheran College Redlands these Markets are the largest on the Redlands Coast and are the perfect place to pick up a beautiful unique gift, shop for a new outfit or amazing Market find and support local business.

School Holiday Activity – Cheeky Monkeys’ Christmas Surprise

Making reindeer biscuits is a perfect way to bring a touch of festive cheer while spending time with family. A chance to get creative and a little messy and creative. No Bake Reindeer Cookies!

No Mess Sensory Play

This sensory play activity is perfect for all ages. Sensory play can be messy, but A Little Pinch of Perfect’s activity is 100% mess-free! You may keep your infant occupied for a while by using cellophane, shaving cream, and some strong tape. To keep the sheets from leaking, use two sheets for reinforcement. They can explore, discover, imagine, create, and learn while engaging many of their senses.

 

 

Playing with playdough has many benefits to our children so lets Christmas theme it! 

Playdough develops fine motor skills, has calming properties, encourages creativity, enhances hand-eye coordination, improves social skills and engages multiple sensors at once (especially if scented!) By adding a small amount of ground ginger and ground cinnamon your plan playdough is transformed into ginger playdough! add a few cookie cutters, buttons and felt shapes and imaginations will run while.
